I personally understand what it’s like to want and to dream of more...
But to think…maybe, I just don’t have what it takes...
I had always been healthy, which is exactly how I became un-healthy.
I was an athlete.
A high achiever, with an optimist’s mind.
I had a high level, successful job and was a runner.
I ran races.
Local 5K, 10K, half-marathons and eventually a marathon.
I was a wife and Mom of little boys.
I was happy…
But my body had other ideas…
I started to lose weight too fast without trying and then gained it back the next month.
My hair fell out.
I was cold all the time.
I lost most of my eyebrows.
My brain was so scattered…
I worried about having Alzheimer’s
I felt so overwhelmed…
When I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's, adrenal fatigue and anemia...
Which are in fact, all part of thyroid health.
I cheered and went on thyroid medication.
But that didn't help.
It actually made me feel worse, so I gave it up...
And started to read...everything!
I read health magazines, textbooks, cookbooks and websites to find solutions...
I went back to school to become a Registered Holistic Nutrition Coach
And I started to make changes in our home life.
We went gluten free and later Paleo
Each time, I'd feel better for a while but it never lasted.
Then I discovered a health approach that was different.
Different from what the mainstream doctor's were saying, we should do...
And I'm talking about a silver bullet or short-term solution…
I’m talking about…
